Days are long

Literally. Gone were the days the sun sets at 7pm. Nowadays the sun has conspire with my boss to make me feel I don't work long enough. The sun sets around 8pm and the night is hot. Big ugly flies are about. Yes, like the ones in Cameron Highlands. Summer is here. I haven't heard any frogs croaking yet except from my Iphone.

Got a notice from the Apartment Management. They are having a Save Electricity Campaign. I got the below door hanger with a long letter detailing the campaign. Short story, if you want to play, you hang this out your apartment when you leave. Cleaner sees it, verify the air con is off, gives you a point. End of 30 days, highest points win something.

My key to freebies

Being one of those rare beings who prefers the fan more, I hang that thing out even before the campaign starts. Warm up mar. Mana tau next day, the hanger is gone. Wah sai, first thought- kena sabo. Rush down reception and complain my hanger is gone. Reception just nod to layan me and said they will replace it. I waited a day before I grab one from the cleaning cart that is parked outside the corridor unattended. Now that I am blogging the whole thing, I can't believe I actually did these things. Must be the kimchi. Makes me a little crazy.

Contest officially starts today. I proudly hang my door hanger before I go to work. Come back the thing is gone. First thought - kena sabo. AGAIN. Rush into apartment, and saw it on coffee table. Oh....
